About Eva Maria Lourdes

Eva Maria Lourdes is an interdisciplinary artist currently based in Houston, TX.
Her work explores: Human agency, sensorial seduction, and the unconscious.
She received a BA and an MA from Stanford University in Psychology, and an MFA in Sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work has been shown in spaces including: Sullivan Galleries (Chicago, IL), Gene Siskel Film Center (Chicago, IL), Ballroom Projects (Chicago, IL), The Learning Machine (Chicago, IL), DiverseWorks (Houston, TX), and Lawndale Art Center (Houston, TX).
